Once your carpet has dried run a vacuum over the area to return the natural texture to your carpet. Place a paper towel terry cloth towel or paper bag on top of the wax stain.

Be careful not to rub the solution into the carpet as this could hurt the fragile fibers. Place a few ice cubes in a plastic bag and put the plastic bag on top of the affected area for a few minutes. Allow the ice to remain until the wax is completely hardened. Run a warm iron over the paper or cloth to heat the wax.
