Refinishing a cultured marble bathtub can take several days to accomplish. It looks so dated to me and the beige marble effect was really bringing the whole space down. They re actually closer to fiberglass or resin which means that if the surface is discolored scratched or you re just sick of it you can paint over it in good conscience. Damaged or aged marble can be refinished with a few supplies that can be purchased from most any building supply or craft supply store. A good brush is a must.
