Turn the window over and use your putty knife to cut the adhesive tape holding the window in the frame. Vinyldoc s patented liquid pvc adhesive comes in oz and 2 o z tubes this vinyl adhesive is perfect filling seams weather sealing or welding cracked vinyl pieces back together from damage done during installation or remodeling. If the strips overlap you may have to remove each strip in order usually side strips first then top then bottom. Lower the sash until it engages with the bottom of the replacement spring balances.

Pop out the vinyl strip from the aluminum window frame. One the glass is in place line up and reinstall the vinyl frame stoppers around the four edges of the glass pane as previously marked.
